Service and Rental

Rental items and services are provided based on the rates and items listed on the PBD website at the time of booking. These rates are subject to change at PBD's discretion. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for the rental period.

Payment

All payments, including applicable fees, are due in full at the time of booking. Payments are processed using the card on file provided at booking. The customer agrees to keep a valid card on file for the duration of the rental period.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Rented equipment will be delivered to the agreed-upon location at the time specified in your booking confirmation. Equipment will be picked up from the same location at day's end when the customer notifies our team.

Late Extension Fee: If the client wishes to extend their booking after 5:00 PM, additional fees will be charged at a rate of 20% of the total booking price per hour. This fee will be charged to the card on file. Clients will be notified of this policy at the time of booking.

Damaged or Stolen Equipment Policy

Customers are responsible for the safety and proper use of all rented equipment. The renter agrees to:

  • Use rented items with care and only for their intended purpose.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Return all rented items in the same condition as received (ordinary wear and tear excepted).
  • Pay any cleaning charges or repair costs resulting from damage beyond normal use.

In the event of damage, theft, or loss:

  • The customer will be charged 100% of the item's retail price for replacement or applicable repair costs.
  • If damage is minor and repairable, only the repair cost will be charged.
  • Any damage or theft must be reported immediately to our team.

Fees for stolen property will only be charged if our team determines the loss was directly due to the renter's failure to follow these guidelines:

  • The Renter agrees to never leave rented equipment unattended at the beach.
  • The Renter agrees to move rented equipment away from the shoreline if ocean conditions pose a threat to the gear.

Wind Policy

For the safety of customers, staff, and equipment, Perfect Beach Day NJ reserves the right to determine when wind conditions are unsafe for the setup of certain rental items — particularly cabanas, umbrellas, and other large structures. As a general guideline, sustained winds above 20 mph or gusts above 25 mph may result in cabana removal.

If, in our sole discretion, wind speeds or gusts are deemed too strong to safely set up a cabana:

  • Customers will be reimbursed for the full value of the cabana portion of their booking.
  • All other rental items (chairs, tables, coolers, etc.) will still be set up and the remainder of the booking will proceed as planned.

Our decision is final. High winds can create hazardous conditions that may result in injury or property damage. Safety will always take priority.

Terms of Agreement

By renting equipment from Perfect Beach Day NJ, you acknowledge and agree to the terms listed above. This policy ensures fairness for all parties and helps us continue to provide quality equipment and services.
