Weather Monitoring and Notification
Perfect Beach Day NJ closely monitors weather forecasts leading up to every scheduled service. For Beach Caddying, Daily Set-Ups, and Custom Party Packages: if staff determines there is a meaningful likelihood of rain or unsafe weather conditions, we will notify the client at least 36 hours in advance — or as soon as conditions become apparent.
For Weekly Rentals, weather monitoring is at the renter's discretion, except in the case of a hurricane or serious tropical storm, in which case PBD staff will notify clients directly.
Our team will respond to all weather-related communications within 2 hours during operating hours. Once notified of potential inclement weather, clients must provide their decision within 2 hours of being contacted (assuming contact was made at a reasonable time).
Client Options: Beach Caddying, Daily Set-Ups & Custom Party Packages
Option 1: Proceed at Your Own Risk
If you choose to proceed with your booking despite the weather forecast, you acknowledge acceptance of possible weather-related disruption. If rain or inclement weather occurs on the day of service:
- No cash refund will be issued.
- We will issue a full service credit or reschedule your booking for a future date.
- Once our crew has prepared for the booking, those costs cannot be recovered if the event is canceled day-of.
Set-ups in mild weather conditions are made at the full discretion of Perfect Beach Day NJ staff. These decisions will be communicated to clients promptly.
Option 2: Reschedule or Cancel Before the Event
If you decide to reschedule or cancel after being notified of potential inclement weather (and respond within 2 hours of notification):
- Full refund to the original form of payment.
- With 24 or more hours of advance notice, clients can reschedule at no additional cost.
PBD-Initiated Cancellations
If Perfect Beach Day NJ proactively cancels a booking due to weather conditions (at staff discretion), the client will receive a full refund to the original form of payment, with no cancellation fee applied.
Non-Refundable Costs
If a client elects to proceed (Option 1) and the service is canceled or cut short due to inclement weather on the day of, the full cost of the service remains charged and no partial refunds will be issued.
Weekly Rentals
Weekly Rental clients proceed at their own risk for unsafe wind conditions, gusty winds, stormy weather, thunder and lightning storms, impeding high tides, or any other conditions that may pose risk to equipment stability and safety. PBD will intervene only in the case of a hurricane or serious tropical storm.
Terms of Agreement
By renting equipment from us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms listed above. This policy ensures fairness for all parties and helps us continue to provide quality equipment and services.
